The Neurobiology Group is mainly concerned with researching the relation between sensory inputs and generated motoric patterns. Our main interest lies in the pattern generators and their neural networks but also the specifications of the according sensory organs. Currently, we focus upon three main research topics:

  • Neural networks of the stomatogastric system of crustaceans
  • Sensorymotor system of scorpions
  • Neural networks of drosophila larvae
